Baking has been in my heart for as long as I can remember—a passion nurtured in my family’s cozy kitchen where recipes and traditions have been lovingly passed down through generations. Some of my fondest childhood memories were made during visits to Scotland—a land of rugged beauty, misty mornings, and warm, joyful gatherings. My uncle, who made Scotland his home, instilled in me a deep appreciation for its enchanting landscapes and rich culinary culture, even though he never taught me to bake.

 

At Lavender & Thistle Bakery, I blend these cherished memories with my creative spirit. Every sweet treat and delicate pastry is inspired by my British and Scottish heritage, along with the natural beauty of lavender fields and wild thistles. Whether it’s a traditional recipe given a modern twist or a brand-new creation, I strive to bring a little bit of that nostalgic magic into every bite.
